What Are We? - Background

The Body Positive Tayside project was started in 1992 by 2 positive women who had a desire to meet with other positive people for mutual support and to learn from each other about different ways of living with HIV.

Since then, the organization has expanded to provide services to Hepatitis C positive individuals, their family members, close friends and their partners.

Although we are based in central premises in the Dundee location, we offer our services on an outreach basis.
