Make A Difference! Volunteer For Body Positive Tayside

We need volunteers in the following areas within the project

DROP-IN CENTRE

The project offers people who are HIV and/or HCV positive or directly personally affected in Tayside to meet together in a comfortable & safe environment. Volunteers are an important part of creating this environment and providing a range of support when needed by service users.

ONE-TO-ONE SUPPORT SERVICE

This project offers confidential & one to one support to people with a positive diagnosis across Tayside. Buddies are trained volunteers who can provide flexible and confidential support to people. This can take place by meeting people in their own community or through prison visiting.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Throughout the year the project organises a range of special events from day outings to social evenings. The project also organises events for World Aids Day and Hepatitis C Awareness Day and also holds various events such as Information Stalls, within the local community.  Volunteers play an active part in special events throughout the year.
